Iterative Algorithms Based on Gradient Methods for Fuzzy Systems of Linear Equations

Seminar on “Iterative Algorithms Based on Gradient Methods for Fuzzy Systems of Linear Equations”

A seminar entitled “Iterative Algorithms Based on Gradient Methods for Fuzzy Systems of Linear Equations” was presented by Professor Dr Ivan Subhi Latif and Sirwan Shakr in the Department of Mathematics, College of Education, on 7 January 2026.

This topic studies numerical methods for solving fuzzy systems of linear equations using iterative gradient-based algorithms. Fuzzy linear systems are important when the data or parameters contain uncertainty or vagueness instead of exact values. Gradient methods improve the approximate solution step by step by moving toward the minimum error. These algorithms are widely used because they are simple, efficient, and suitable for large-scale problems. Applications appear in engineering, optimization, economics, artificial intelligence, and decision-making systems where uncertainty exists.
