On 2nd February 2026, the English Department at the College of Education had the privilege of hosting a seminar delivered by Mr. Barzan on the critical subject of Salahaddin University’s ranking and the requisite measures for enhanced institutional performance.
The seminar provided a comprehensive analysis of the university’s current standing in both national and international rankings, alongside strategic recommendations for advancement. Mr. Barzan outlined key areas requiring attention, including research productivity, quality assurance mechanisms, and academic standards.
Teaching staff of the department participated in substantive discussions regarding the implementation of policies and practices that will strengthen the university’s academic reputation and competitive position.
