On April 17, 2025 English Department of College of Education achieved a historic milestone at the 14th Annual Scientific Conference winning three top academic awards – a first for the department. Under the Dean of College Dr. Mazen Abdulkhaliq Othman’s supervision the conference was held out the college premises. The Department of English students Zhara Kanbi (Best Research) which was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qdir Saeed; Ivan Muhammad (Best 4th-stage Poster) which was supervised by Asst. Prof. Rebin A. Aziz; and Soz Muhammad (Best 1st-stage Poster) which was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Asma A. Brime triumphed against six competing departments. The department extends heartfelt gratitude to evaluators led by Dr. Bandar Abdulqader, the organizing committee, faculty, and students for this proud achievement, marking a significant step in academic excellence and looking forward to future successes.
